  • Should Women Be Allowed to Drive in Saudi Arabia?

    Manal al-Sharif was jailed for nine days in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia for posting a video of herself breaking the law by driving her black SUV in the country. Thereafter, people all around the world took to social media to voice their various opinions. Government censor did not quash the debate which arose- mostly in Ms. Sharif’s defense- as it has in the past.
